The third class action concerns "all those persons who were arrested without reason during the Summit". It aims to get compensation for all those who were victims of arbitrary arrest, illegal search, illegal andunreasonable detention, and other violations of constitutional rights(https://florafox.com/ca/saskatoon) notably the right to life, liberty, and security of the person.

Victor Chiasson-Lebel is a resident of Montréal. He was in Québec City during the Summit, with the intention of expressing his opinions. While leaving a restaurant, he was literally kidnapped by police officers. He was detained for more than 30 hours before finally being released facing charges of participation in a riot; they were later dropped. He is requesting permission to represent those who suffered abusive arrest and detention.
