Karina Chagnon is a resident of the city of Montréal. She went to Québec in April 2001 with the goal of peacefully expressing her opinion regarding those meeting behind closed doors at the Summit. She contends that the immoderate use of gas, plastic bullets, and other offensive weapons by the various police forces caused her physical, moral, and material damages. She is requesting permission to represent all those who were victims of similar abuses.
